About FacetWord

FacetWord is a daily word game built around a simple idea: most words carry more than one meaning. Every day, you're given a new word — one facet at a time.

Each puzzle gives you a series of meanings for a hidden word, from the most surprising to the most obvious. Guess it as early as you can for the most points. The fifth puzzle each day, The Twist, mixes things up: four clues, only three point to the same word.

Solve puzzles to polish your Facet — a gem that evolves as you play, from Rough Stone all the way to Diamond. Seven tiers in all, and every word you solve brings you one step closer. Some gems shine brighter with a little attention. Progress never resets, even if you miss a day.

FacetWord is made in Ottawa by Shawn, with supervision from Luna, our resident husky and chief tester of nothing at all. If you're lucky, you might spot her from time to time.
